Ramey LLP has filed a patent infringement lawsuit on behalf of its client, AML IP, LLC, against The Finish Line, Inc. The complaint was officially filed in the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division on November 7, 2024.

At the heart of the lawsuit was US Patent 7,177,838 —a piece of technological innovation that represented more than just lines of code. It was a blueprint for electronic commerce transactions, a method of conducting digital business that could potentially reshape how retailers interact with customers.

AML IP, LLC wasn't just another company filing a routine lawsuit. They were guardians of intellectual property, protecting a technological breakthrough that represented years of innovative thinking.
