On Thursday, April 6, 2023, Judge Meyer of the 170th Judicial District Court in McLennan County, Texas stayed execution of Verizon's Attorney's Fee award against Traxcell during the pendency of Traxcell's appeals. Judge Meyer's Order provides that a bond of $0.00 is required to stay execution of Verizon's judgment because under Texas law an appeal bond must equal the sum of compensatory damages and costs awarded in the judgment.
