Ramey LLP has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Comcast Corporation (d/b/a Xfinity Corporation) on behalf of ERR Content IP, LLC in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division on November 8, 2024.
The lawsuit centers on U.S. Patent No. 10,721,542, which covers a "Method and Device for Providing a Main Content and an Extra Content to a User Through Reference Item." This technology enables users to access supplementary content related to their primary viewing material.
ERR Content IP is pursuing legal action to:
- Address patent infringement
- Protect its intellectual property rights
- Seek appropriate relief through jury trial
