The original complaint and demand for a jury trial were officially filed on the November 20,2024 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Midland/Odessa Division.

The lawsuit states that Amazon.com, Inc. has infringed on U.S. Patent No.  9,967,389, which pertains to a "System and Method for Selectable Alteration of Operation and Appearance of a Portable Computing Device." This patent addresses innovative techniques that allow for the alteration of the functionality and appearance of portable computing devices, a technology that plays a critical role in modern consumer electronics.

PROUDLION IP, LLC is seeking relief for this alleged infringement, with the goal of protecting its intellectual property rights and ensuring that its patented technology is not exploited without proper authorization.
