A lawsuit has been filed by Ramey LLP on behalf of their client VDPP LLC against RICOH USA, INC. VDPP LLC is states that RICOH USA, INC. have infringed on US Patents 9,426,452, and 9,948,922 which pertains to Faster State Transitioning for Continuous Adjustable 3Deeps Filter Spectacles Using Multi-Layered Variable Tint Materials.

The complaints were filed on August 30, 2023, in the Southern District Court of Texas. VDPP LLC is seeking damages from both defendants for patent infringement and is also seeking injunctions to prevent further infringement on their patent.
