Lawsuits have been filed by Ramey LLP on behalf of their client VDPP LLC against BMW of North America, LLC and Kia America, Inc. VDPP LLC is asserting that both BMW of North America, LLC and Kia America, Inc. have infringed on US Patent 9,426,452, which pertains to Faster State Transitioning for Continuous Adjustable 3Deeps Filter Spectacles Using Multi-Layered Variable Tint Materials.

The complaints were filed on August 11, 2023, in the Eastern District Court of Texas. VDPP LLC is seeking damages from both defendants for patent infringement and is also seeking injunctions to prevent further infringement on their patent.  Click below for further details.
