Ortiz & Associates Consulting, LLC asserts that Sharp Imaging's use of the patented technology constitutes a clear violation of its intellectual property rights. By filing this lawsuit, Ortiz & Associates Consulting seeks relief in the form of damages and other remedies available under U.S. patent law.

The case has been filed as a jury trial, signaling that both sides will present evidence and arguments before a jury.
