A small group of lawyers from the Texas State Bar, including Bill Ramey of Ramey & Browning, drafted and pushed through the Texas legislature the Uniform Trade Secret Act in Texas. The Act was signed by Governor Rick Perry on May 3, 2013, effective September 1, 2013.
