On November 15–17, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will provide training on examination practice and procedure as part of the USPTO's our Stakeholder Training on Examination Practice and Procedure (STEPP) program. The three-day course is offered to the public, is intended for those who have recently passed the Patent Bar, and will be held on the USPTO's Alexandria, Va. campus. However, tomorrow, October 5, is the last day to sign up for the program.
The program will be led by USPTO trainers, using materials developed for training patent examiners and other USPTO employees. More information, including a proposed upcoming course schedule, is available here.
