The USPTO will host its first Patent Quality Chat in the 2016 webinar series on Tuesday, January 12 from noon to 1 pm (ET). The Patent Quality Chat is a monthly, lunchtime webinar series designed to provide information on patent quality topics and gather input for the PTO. The January webinar chat will share information and collect feedback on (1) Topic Submission for Case Studies and (2) Post Grant Outcomes. The speakers will discuss the PTO's Case Studies program and its recent Federal Register Notice requesting submissions and will present an overview of the Post Grant Outcomes program (a program to develop a process for providing post grant outcomes from sources, such as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), to examiners of related applications).
