The USPTO's (United States Patent and Trademark Office's) Cybersecurity Partnership Meeting is a collaborative forum for USPTO stakeholders seeking patent protection in the cybersecurity sector to share ideas, experiences, and insights with USPTO staff. The next Partnership meeting will be from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (PST) on February 10, 2016, at the Silicon Valley USPTO. Topics to be discussed include:
- key computer security patent application statistics and trends;
- the cooperative patent classification system;
- enhanced patent quality initiatives; and
- interim guidance on patent subject matter eligibility.
Attendees can ask questions and provide input on the topics and share ideas during interactive discussions. The meeting is free to the public and will also be accessible via webcast.
