Ramey LLP, a proud long-time supporter of NAPP and its activities, is happy to report that the National Association of Patent Practitioners has successfully concluded its 2025 conference. NAPP is the organization of choice for all patent professionals seeking to achieve the highest levels of competence and professionalism, whose activities include organizing an annual conference on topics of specific interest to registered US patent practitioners and those hoping to join their ranks. This year's conference featured twenty-six speakers from across the country, including Will Covey, Acting Deputy Director of the USPTO, and Dan Krueger, Partner at Ramey LLP. (The agenda is still available for review at https://napp.org/agenda/.) The 125 attendees learned about topics ranging from in-house practice to inventor affidavits and participated in fun networking activities. The American University Washington College of Law hosted this year's conference, which is held every other year in the DC area. In the off years, the conference moves around the country. Next year's conference is tentatively scheduled for July 22-23 in Seattle, and we encourage interested speakers and attendees to plan ahead now. The conference planning committee is actively seeking topics of interest and speaker suggestions for next year, which can be directed to committee chair Kirby Drake via [email protected].
