WirelessWerx IP, LLC has launched a patent infringement lawsuit against automotive connectivity pioneer OnStar, LLC. Filed February 25, 2025, the legal action centers on technology that controls movable objects – putting a spotlight on the sophisticated systems that increasingly define today's connected vehicles.
The lawsuit, filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina's Western Division, states that OnStar has infringed on U.S. Patent No. 7,323,982, which covers "Method and System to Control Movable Entities."
