Linfo IP, LLC has initiated legal proceedings against The Knot Worldwide, Inc., regarding patent infringement. The lawsuit was filed on January 22, 2025, in the Western District of Texas, Midland/Odessa Division.

The legal action centers on U.S. Patent No. 9,430,131, which covers systems, methods, and user interface technology for organizing unstructured data objects. This technology is particularly relevant for platforms that manage and organize large amounts of user-generated content and information.
