Ramey LLP has filed a patent infringement lawsuit on behalf of its client, Missed Call, LLC, against Dialpad, Inc. The lawsuit asserts infringement of U.S. Patent No. 9,531,872, entitled “Communication Apparatus for Providing an Indication About a Missed Call, and Method Thereof.”
The Original Complaint and demand for a jury trial were filed in the Western District of Texas, Midland/Odessa Division, on September 8, 2025.
The patent-in-suit protects Missed Call, LLC's innovative technology related to communication systems that provide notifications and indications for missed calls—an important advancement in telecommunications functionality. Missed Call, LLC states that Dialpad, Inc. has infringed upon this patent through the unauthorized use of the patented technology.
Ramey LLP is seeking relief on behalf of Missed Call, LLC through the judicial process, with the goal of protecting its client's intellectual property rights and addressing the alleged infringement by Dialpad, Inc.
