The lawsuit involves U.S. Patent No. 8,402,099, which covers “Method For Carrying Out A Multimedia Communication Based On A Network Protocol Particularly TCP/IP And/Or UDP.” This patented technology pertains to innovative methods for conducting multimedia communications efficiently over widely used network protocols, facilitating reliable and seamless data exchange.
Ramey LLP filed Random Chat LLC's original complaint along with a demand for a jury trial, seeking relief for the patent infringement by Ancestry.com DNA, LLC.
